Tyranid Carnifex Tyrant Conversion (PART 1)

For when you need your hive tyrant bigger, meatier and terrifying to imperial guardsmen!

I had just bought a hive tyrant model and after assembling him and giving a basic paint job I was very unsatisfied with how he actually looked... he just looked weak, army commanders can't look weak now can they?

I had a carnifex set laying around with a few missing bits so I decided to mash them up with a few hive tyrant spares I bought.

Here is my result after assembly stage.

Cybork Trouble Makers!

Crikey if only they had a brain they'd be dangerous...

Another smash together of old parts, I reckon they'd make great body guards for my mek.

Custom Ork Mek Conversion

Mr. Mean Mek Bolt 'ead

This was just me messing around with spares but I actually think he look pretty good!

The Plague Father... Painting that Abominal Nurgle Daemon (PART - 1)

Why do I enjoy the foul and disgusting miniatures the most?

I bought this guy years ago from forgeworld but just never got round to painting him, mainly because I really didn't want to screw this one up... he had quite a price tag.

This is pretty much stage 1 of this guy just getting base coats and lightly experimenting, I'm going to take my time adding gradient layers and really trying to make this a truly disgusting model to look at :P

My main inspiration for this guy...

Eldar Fire Dragons Colour Theme

Cooking with The Eldar

I was going for a lava colour armour seeing as these guys can roast a tank to a smouldering ruin.

I considered keeping the whole head black or a bronze colour but I didn't feel they stood out enough so I kept the face black and helmet white.

I'm quite happy with them :)

First Post

I'm some guy who paints, converts and sculpts miniatures.

This is my blog to show off some of my current projects I'm working on... that's basically it, enjoy!
